My 2006 equipment guide has the last model as E206500 -1992 which isn't even close to my number. How can I find out what year mine is? Thanks Posted 3/4/2017 08:19 (#5877289 - in reply to #5877254) Subject: RE: 7200 planter year Jackson County.

Southwest Minnesota 1994 or 1995 Posted 3/4/2017 09:13 (#5877390 - in reply to #5877254) Subject: RE: 7200 planter year 210 Industrial Dr., Arlington Wisconsin 53911 Its a 1995. Starting in 1993 at Serial # 650100 you add 5000 numbers for each year so 1994 is 655xxx, 1995 is 660xxx, and so on all the way up to present day which is somewhere around 760xxx. This is true for John Deere planters. Combines, grain platforms, and corn heads started earlier in 1984 at 600xxx. An exception was 1985 where they jumped 10,000 numbers instead of 5,000 but it has been 5,000 ever since.

Yours would be considered a wheel module planter and according to my charts it is a 1995 year model Once in a while there is confusion in year of planters, since its possible it was built say like in June of a previous year but was not sold ( delivery or sale date ) or used until the following year.

This does NOT make any difference by serial number. Posted 3/4/2017 09:13 (#5877391 - in reply to #5877254) Subject: RE: 7200 planter year Northeast Missouri Serial numbers would correspond with same year combines.

The Planter Works are considered a part of the Harvester Works now and share blocks of serial numbers for each year of production. Hope this helps. Posted 3/4/2017 10:54 (#5877589 - in reply to #5877391) Subject: RE: 7200 planter year Northeast Pa.

I tried to Google it etc. And my 2006 guide book only goes to 1992 which I don't know why. Edited by jd43 3/4/2017 10:57 Jump to forum: ().
