I have tried using the compatibility modes and have tried compatibility for W98, 2000 and XP - all of which used to run it. But nothing happens except I get the initial panel, from which the 'install' option does nothing at all.

Picture Publisher was purchased by one of their competitor companies. This still works great on computers with only minimum problems with Windows XP, a few times it will go off screen and have to be brought up again with XP -- there were no more updates made for the program once it was purchased by their competitor, but for those that can use it, I would highly recommend it.
